The success of the company is due in large part to our dedicated team of employees, many of whom have been with us for over twenty years. They bring with them experience, knowledge and commitment to the values we embrace: honesty, loyalty, generosity and fairness.
We feel it is important to listen to what our customers ask for by offering quality plants, competitive pricing and efficient service while continuing to expand our plant selection to meet the Industry’s demands. Both of our Northern California locations stock a large and diversified selection of 1 gallon through 24” box trees and shrubs on over 100 acres. As the President and CEO of Western Star Nurseries, it is my mission to ensure our customers are provided with quality plant material and the highest level of customer service, as well as promote and reward hard work within the organization. As a family owned company, our reputation is extremely important to us and we strive to earn your confidence and your business. I take great pride in the fact many of our employees have been with the company for over 15 years, and feel it is a testament to Western Star as an organization. It was an honor to take over Western Star Nurseries in 2019 and to continue the legacy created by founders Robert and Sally Painter, with the promise to uphold the core values on which the company was established in 1996: honesty, loyalty, fairness and generosity.
