About Dianella revoluta ‘Allyn-Citation’ PP22965 (Coolvista™ Dianella)
This compact evergreen is called Dianella revoluta ‘Allyn-Citation’ PP22965. It is more commonly known as Coolvista™ Dianella, this plant features upright blue-gray leaves and reaches an average landscape size of 1-2’x 1-2′. When summer arrives its grass-like fanned leaves are accompanied by small blue flowers followed by occasional blue berries. As part of the Sunset Western Garden Collection this variety has many features including drought tolerance, heat tolerance, and year-round interest.
Planting and Care Instructions
Plant the Coolvista™ Dianella in well-draining soil in an area that receives full sun to part shade. Plant 1”-2” above ground soil level and water deeply to settle it in its place. Once a healthy root system has been established, water moderately. This hardy plant doesn’t require pruning but fertilizer can be used as desired.
Design Ideas
