About Rose “Quest for Zest”

Rose Quest for Zest is distinguished most notably by its refreshing lemony scent. An inviting scent that makes way for its spiraled blooms with dark yellow centers that fade out to white towards the outer petals of the flower. Its 4-5 inch wide flowers with as many as 40 petals can emerge singularity to a stem or in clusters of 2-3 per stem and are accompanied by dark green, shiny leaves. Reaching an average mature landscape size of 3-4 feet tall with a 2-3 feet spread and grows in an upright, slightly spreading form.

Origin And Landscape Adaptability

Introduced by Weeks Roses in the early 2020’s, this is a Grandiflora Rose. It adapts well to dry California summers and is highly resistant to diseases.

Care And Planting Instructions

Plant Rose Quest for Zest in an area that receives full sun exposure using well draining soil. Water regularly after planting to help it establish well to its new location, then reduce frequency. Make sure never to overwater, as soggy soil as it can cause root rot. Cut back spent blooms for a cleaned up appearance or cut blooming flowers for indoor center arrangements.
