This evergreen plant is known as Cordyline ‘ Electric Pink’. Recognized for its colorful foliage, this plant boasts upright facing sword-like leaves framed in bright pink with dark red centers. Highly decorative to any landscape design, this bush reaches an average landscape size of 2-4’ tall by 2-4’ wide.  Interestingly, this plant grows a small trunk taking on the appearance of a small tree. Commonly known as Electric Pink Cordyline, this specimen can be hardy to temperatures as low as 15 degrees Fahrenheit and can withstand harsh seaside conditions.

Planting and care instructions

With a moderate growth rate and minimal maintenance required, Electric Pink Cordyline grows best when planted in an area that receives full to partial sunlight. Use well-draining soil when planting and water regularly after planting to establish a healthy root system. Once established, water weekly but during periods of extreme heat, be sure to water frequently. If desired, use a general fertilizer in the spring to encourage new growth.
