This herbaceous perennial is called Monarda didyma ‘Pocahontas Purple Rose’. Its dark green foliage grows in a mounded form and is accompanied by dense blooms during the summer months. The flowers have thin crepe-like petals arranged like a starburst with bright green centers. Growing at a moderate rate and spreading quickly, this variety reaches an average mature landscape size of 14″ tall by 16″ wide.
