About Lantana ‘Radiation’

This bright, radiant plant known as Lantana ‘Radiation’ is a mounding evergreen shrub. As a moderate grower the Lantana ‘Radiation’, or Radiation Bush Lantana, reaches an average landscape size of 4 ‘- 6’ wide and tall. Its green foliage is complimented by clusters of small red-orange blooms with yellow accents and is known to have a long bloom season. It blooms nearly year-round in frost free areas or in all other regions, Spring through Summer.

Care Instructions

This striking bush thrives in average, well-drained soils and should be planted in full sun. The Lantana ‘Radiation’ is a heat lover and requires more water after planting to establish a healthy root system but once established, reduce watering frequency. Light pruning is suggested during Spring to preserve your desired shape and deadhead spent blooms to maintain its appearance.

Where to plant

This variety shows well as a low-growing hedge or as an accent to a sunny corner of your landscape. Its mounding shape makes it a great option for mass planting on a hill or even a street median. Western Star Nurseries grows several other Lantana varieties, each with its own colorful flower and growth habit. Contact us for more information.
