This sun loving evergreen plant is called Leucophyllum frutescens ‘Green Cloud’. Commonly known as Texas Ranger this variety is native to the southwest region of the United States. Growing in an upright form at a moderate growth rate this variety reaches an average mature landscape size of 6-8′ tall by 6-8′ wide. Its densely packed leaves grow in symmetrical clusters along tall branches that welcome delicate purple flowers during the spring, summer and fall seasons.
